Microphone access blocked

PitchLab needs microphone access to detect pitches. It looks like permission was previously denied. Here's how to fix it:

  1. Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) in Chrome
  2. Go to Settings → Site settings → Microphone
  3. Find b21-pitchlab.pages.dev (or pitchlab.bridging21.com) and tap it
  4. Change permission to Allow
  5. Return here and tap Start listening again
  1. Open the iPhone Settings app
  2. Scroll down to Chrome (or Safari)
  3. Tap Microphone and set it to Allow
  4. Return here and tap Start listening again
  1. Click the lock icon in the address bar
  2. Find Microphone and change it to Allow
  3. Reload the page and tap Start listening

Simple spectrum / overtones

Teal bars mark your fundamental pitch. Amber bars are the overtones — each one is a whole-number multiple of the fundamental. Grey bars are other sound (breath, room noise). The thin floating lines show recent peaks as they decay. The more overtones you can see, the richer your sound.

No reference tone playing.

Best results: use a sustained single note, avoid background noise, and keep the sound steady. This is designed for rehearsal and teaching use, not laboratory-grade acoustic measurement.
